Top left is the Amazon Kindle eReader logo which consists of the word "amazon" (in black) followed by the word "kindle" in orange. There is a curved orange arrow under the word "amazon" pointing to the right.
Beneath this logo is the logo for HTML5. HTML5 stands for "Hyper Text Markup Language version Five", which is the next standard being fashioned for web pages and many ebook formats. This logo consists of the abbreviation "HTML" in black on top with a shield under the abbreviation in red-orange with the numeral five in white in its center.
Next, below the HTML5 logo is the logo for the Sony corporation, which consists of the word "SONY" in black capital letters.
Above the Sony logo and under the amazon kindle logo is one of many logos representing the Adobe Acrobat "Portable Document Format", or PDF file, which preserves high quality print format such as a book in a file that can be read on many electronic devices. This logo has the abbreviation "PDF" on the upper left with white letters on red and a large stylized red letter "A" in the lower right, and both of these rest on a background that represents a white page of a document with the upper right corner bent over toward the reader.
On the upper right of the "PDF" logo is the Barnes & Noble nook ePub reader logo. This consists of the word "nook" in lower case letters, each letter in a different color: bluish-green, black, faded blue, and olive green respectively, for the four letters n o o k.
Beneath the nook logo is the .mobi logo, pronounced "dot mobi", which represents the wireless website domain name suffix, and this logo consists of the word ".mobi" in white, soft, rounded letters on a black background with a tiny ™ symbol at the upper right in black, and the letters in black below the black background that read "Internet Made Mobile".
At the far right of this image is the ePUB logo, the standards-based format for electronic books that most ebook producers are adopting. the upper three-fourths of this logo is a large green square-shaped lower-case letter "e" rotated forty-five degrees counter-clockwise, and below the large rotated "e" at the bottom of the logo is the word "ePUB", the letter "e" in "ePUB" is lower case and green, while the "PUB" in "ePUB" is upper-case and black.
